View, download and order publications quickly and easily on our Online Publications Shop. This website links directly into our ordering hotline and distribution centre.

Find what you need by browsing the categories to the left, including most recent and most popular publications, or by using the search box.

If you register as a user you can order hard copies - paper-based, CDs, videos, etc. - some of which are free. You'll also receive email alerts about the latest items available.

Other Departmental publications

Visit the publications section on the Every Child Matters website to read or browse the latest documents that are of interest if you work with children.

Visit the publications section on TeacherNet to read or browse the latest documents sent to schools or order publications that are of interest if you work in a school.

The Research and Statistics Gateway gives you access to a wide set of statistical material including the most recent publications, plus an overview of soon-to-be-published documents. The research publications page gives you a list of research publications that you can download. You can also join a mailing list for the latest news.

A note about the Department

The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) was one of two departments that replaced the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) in June 2007. The other one, the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS), is responsible for further and higher education.

Publications produced by the Department for Education and Skills are still widely available on this shop, including publications regarding further and higher education.
